How time flies. In August 2014, we welcomed Mikhael into our lives and today we see a very cute, cheeky and kind young gentleman in front of us. What a blessing to have Mikhael in our lives. My hubby and I are always on the look out for a new play place to bring Mikhael. Today we brought him to the Chip Munk play cafe and he enjoyed himself so much. There was a separate section for those below and above 5 years old. I'd recommend parents who are in Brisbane area to go there and have a try. Picture above: My darling hubby with Mikhael.
I am utterly grateful to have been awarded with such a beautiful family, a supportive husband and a content life. I pray that we would be happy together till Jannah. Ameen...

1) Tips on styling your crop top Crop tops can be used in many ways besides the usual belly-showing style. Another way that I love to style a crop top is by : Styling it with a dress. -Wear a sleeveless casual dress underneath a crop top. (I forgot to take a picture of me styling it this way, I'll post a picture soon). This style allows crop tops to be used in a more modest way. I bought a crop top from H&M and style it with a plain black sleeveless dress underneath it :) 2) Tips for styling your dress Belts for adding that extra oomph on your dress A simple dress can be styled by putting on a belt. This is mostly recommended for ladies with hour-glass shape body type. This style will eccentuate your slim figure and it creates a significant stylish appearance by adding a belt to a simple dress. This makes you look effortlessly stylish yet classy. Empire waist dress However, for ladies with other body shapes, I 'd recommend dresses that are not fitting on the waist.Empire waist dress -the waist cut that is made higher than than the waist which flows. This will create a slimmer effect as it flows and covers the waist part :) Toodles! :) I will insert more pictures soon when I've got the time :) Love, Saliza :) Mikhael 😊Mikhael brings so much joy to me, hubby and everyone else. All parents know that they would do anything to protect their children. Mikhael is such a cheeky and cute little boy. He would smile widely everytime i come home from the library. Sometimes he would come to me and hug me tightly. I feel so loved...
Watching him grow everyday makes me a happy mom. I always worry if he eats enough and i make sure he eats healthily. Avocado is one of his favourites 😃. Mikhael darling, mummy prays that you will become successful in this life and the life after. Please pray for mommy and daddy too when we are no longer here. Mommy loves Mikhael till Jannah ❤️ Curry Connection
Hubby felt like eating Tosai today so w went to Curry connection located in St Lucia. The butter chicken is superb! I always ask for spicy butter chicken. Hihi. As usual, our outings are usually a part of our exercise routine as we have to always run after Mikha as he is a very healthy and active boy now! :D Brick & Bean Cafe Shortly after that, we went to the Brick & Bean cafe :) The Iced Mocha tastes better than the hot one :P But i love the design of the milk froth :)) UQ In the evening I went to UQ as usual to resume my thesis writing :) Often in life we stumble upon a few important tasks that need to be handled at the same time. We put certain amount of pressure onto ourselves that we might end up losing energy on worrying rather than solving the matter.
Therefore, that's how the phrase 'Let go' often crosses our paths. We should try to do our best first, but in the end if it doesn't seem to go well as planned, don't beat up yourself over it. Learn to let go and move on. We might have disappointed a few people due to it along the way, but trust your guts. If you could feel that you have too much on your plate already, be ready to express it and ensure to convey it to the other party. That's the hole that I always fall into. Knowing me, I know that I have this way of communicating with others in a diplomatic way that I may end up not fully getting my message across. And I sometimes feel that I don't know how to say 'no' to others. I still have these weaknesses but by writing this out, it makes a perfect reminder for me in the future. Nevertheless, as diplomatic and soft as I can be, there are times when I just act the opposite. If I feel that I am not being treated fairly, that's when I can jump and become a monster that you do not want to see. This rarely happens but it can take place. Haha! But it takes a lot of factors before I actually become a monster. hihihihi. Okay, enough rumbling for the day. Back to my lovely thesis :) :) Have a great day ahead lovelies! Toodles! Love, Saliza. Last week, we went to Pappa Rich in Brisbane again as we were craving for some authentic Malaysian dishes :D I had Assam Laksa which was quite delicious! :) And of course the all-time fav, Pappa Cham, my fav drink! The attire I chose to wear is as shown below. Black top with black jeans, lined with big brown belt. And a long flowy cardigan to add a feminine element to the whole outfit. Details Cardigan: Temt ($10) Black top and black jeans: KMart ($5, $15) Belt: Jayjays ($5- a massive discount) Handbag: Kate Spade (I bought from trip to US a few months ago) I just discovered a different look by tucking in the top and adding a striking brown belt to the whole top to bottom black outfit set to exude elegance. You're gonna see me more with this belt until I get to find another one! :P A black one probably :D Okay, I'm gonna resume my thesis writing! Toodles! Lots of love, Saliza. Uncountable. That's it. Allah has blessed me with uncountable amount of blessings in life. To be able to open my eyes every morning although my life daily still mounting with so many sins that I can think of. A human being I am, imperfect, at times stubborn but still want to improve myself nevertheless.
I am 27 years old this year. Married, blessed with a 1 year old cute toddler and doing Doctor of Biotech in UQ, Aussie. Wow. 27! I still can't believe I have passed the phase of growing out of the teen years. Growing up definitely means more changes to be encountered. We can't control everything. Life is about making decisions. Changes do not necessarily mean good or bad. They are the norms of life. I can;t stay being a little girl forever. I have a little boy to take care of now. Sometimes I reminisce the moments being a little girl all over again. Life was just following the safe path. Study, make friends, obey, go to school, get good grades, go to good university, go get good career. Then, Ding Ding!
Girl meets boy. Boy meets girl. Happily married. Happily having a boy. Happily going through the ups and downs in life. Happily doing PhDs together. So far, i see life as constant changes. And to succeed, always be ready and go with the flow. Do the best in everything. Accept the flaws that one may have and improve. Be nice to people, to family, parents and friends. Still, growing up. I wish that we will all grow up happily with our loved ones. Ameen.. The heart is a very delicate organ. You own the heart to protect and take care of it. Undeniably, the heart controls your whole body and mind too. When you are about to succeed in something, the heart gives you the tranquility and focus for your body and mind to gear towards it. But when the heart is affected, the impact is spread to the whole body and mind too. Find the stressor or the source of stress, lay out a plan on how to deal with it. Sometimes it is you that has to change to change how things are. Or it can be multifactorial. Whatever it is, at the end of the day, what's done is done. Life moves on. And be better and improve. One of the biggest things you can do for yourself is to admit the mistakes that you've done. Don't deny the reality. Then, move on. And to remember Allah the Almighty.
*self-advice* Toodles! Dear Diary, My EDD (Expected delivery date) was supposed to be yesterday. But here I am, still at home, typing on Weebly. :P My baby is still so comfortable in my tummy and he wants to stay inside a lil bit longer. Awww.... My tummy must be super comfy for him. hihihihihi. I am supposed to do my CV to email to my program coordinator for my industrial placement in Sanofi Aventis in Brisbane during the summer semester at the end of the year. But as usual, I am a professional procrastinator and I am about to do it now or in a short while :P . hihihihi. My lovely hubby and I on our first wedding anniversary celebrated in June this year. I am so blessed to have a husband like him. From the bottom of my heart, I really think he is loving, caring, responsible, disciplined and I feel protected when I am with him. InsyaAllah we will live happily together till Jannah. Ameen... ;)
